After years I finally got around to writing a little script (called from a
menu item) which courses through the Frontier database, starting at the
current table level and down into sub-tables, scripts, and outlines. It's
purpose is to set the font and font size of tables, scripts, and outlines in a
global fashion.
I just got tired of opening a script and finding it in some illegible font, changing it manually, then later finding the same situation in a neighboring object.
I've run this script on the entire roots on a 200-Mhz 604e and a MacIIvx. The xv took an hour or two, and you'll want to boost the memory of Frontier. Once done, though, it'll probably not be necessary to do the whole root again.
When it's completed, it displays a summary of what it did. On the MacIIvx the summary was that "661 tables, 2,457 scripts, and 97 outlines" were changed. I wouldn't want to do that by hand!
Nothing fancy. Just a hack.
